Allan Longprimer 44 Thinline Rebind (53DG Limited Edition Homage)

The R.L. Allan Longprimer 53DG was a limited edition of only 50 copies released in 2014, crafted by the renowned B.J. Chant bindery in England, an era widely considered to be Allan’s finest.

We have created an homage to Allan’s limited edition 53DG Longprimer, maintaining identical specifications with the exception of the Bible block; we have substituted the 53 block with the Allan 44 Longprimer Thinline, which offers the same features in a slimmer profile.

We have endeavored to replicate the style and quality of the Chant edition by incorporating features such as 100% silk head and tailbands, alongside traditional Chant style spine hubs, precisely crafted corners and foldovers. The cover is crafted from soft, supple Italian goatskin, complemented by a vibrant purple lambskin liner, which provides a smooth and flexible feel.
